What are we looking for? We are looking for an RF Engineer to join our Engineering Team and contribute to our Electronic Warfare product set\. What will the role entail? + Design and development of RF and hardware circuitry and sub\-systems\. + Use of RF and analogue simulation tools and Mentor Graphics schematic capture\. + Produce technical documentation to capture design, verification and test specifications\. + Employ Systems Engineering lifecycle processes throughout the project\. + Provide technical input into project estimating and controlling processes\. + Understand and clarify written requirements\. + Provide requirements traceability\. + Contribute to the test and qualification strategy for solutions and sub\-systems\. + Author test plans and debug issues identified\. + Contribute to design reviews to enable successful outcomes\. + Provide support to RF and hardware sub\-systems throughout their lifecycle\. + Maintain an awareness of the latest technology advancements and engineering best practice\. What skills will I need to be successful? + Previous working experience of an RF/hardware engineering position + Design/understand RF components used within software\-defined radio systems \(mixers, amplifiers, filters, PLLs, oscillators, etc\.\) + Experience of using RF test equipment\. + Understand the stages of engineering project/product lifecycle\. + Appreciation of wider engineering functions and disciplines: software, firmware, digital, analogue, PCB and mechanical engineering\. + Possess good interpersonal skills to allow effective collaboration with technical staff and internal support departments\. + Know how to plan and prioritise work to meet the team objectives and deadlines\.
