Role Summary: This role will provide expertise to ensure compliance with product-related Technical Regulations & Standards including Health, Safety and Environmental regulation for the Baker Hughes, a GE Company (Subsea Production System & Services) business. This mission can be accomplished through acting across the matrix organization structure, and in coordination with various functions within BHGE, as well as outside regulatory agencies. Essential Responsibilities: In the role of Technical Regulations & Standards (TR&S) Engineer, you will: Identify all relevant product legislation that impact products and drive compliance. Provide Product Compliance expertise, while working with the TR&S and Engineering project teams. Integrate with TR&S and product teams to ensure regulatory compliance documentation is ready for the project teams for appropriate regions. Evaluation of the Regulatory process to be followed to ensure the product/system be delivered into Region is compliant, including understanding of all Certification/License/Permit requirements. Ownership of writing/reviewing/revising and publishing good quality TR&S documentation. Ownership of maintaining TR&S documentation database. Review existing processes and improvements. Evaluate of Regional Regulations, Acts, Laws and Standards to identify the specific requirements that will be applicable to the business. Qualifications/Requirements: MSc. Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical/Environmental or similar Engineering Proven experience in Oil & Gas or related industry Good experience in regulatory compliance, regulations and standards in major regions Experience in creating and publishing TR&S documents that specifies the Regional Regulations and Standards mandated to meet the compliance Experience in identifying any changes to Regulations and Standards that may have a potential impact on the business. Experience with one of more of the legislation categories that impact BHGE equipment including, but not limited to: Electrical Safety, Explosive Atmospheres, Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC), Pressure Equipment, Steel Structures, Lifting Equipment/Devices, Environmental-Noise, Hazardous Chemicals, Health & Safety Standards, Radioactive Substances Strong inter-personal and communication skills Excellent report writing & presentation skills Fluent English Speaker Applications from job seekers who require sponsorship to work in the UK are welcome and will be considered alongside all other applications.
