Overview
Job Description
Administers production control, inventory control, shipping and receiving of materials. Checks parts and materials for damage and verifies quantity, part number, and serial number of shipped items. Records and prepares status reports of requested and received items. Under general direction, is accountable for the performance and results of a related discipline or sub-group within a function. Manages the delivery of functional objectives by providing leadership and direction to team members. Participates in the development of functional strategy and may be responsible for global processes and procedures. Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree. The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation and support of a number of IT systems to support the Materials Management, Procurement and Construction Processes. Past experience in supporting the following functions is required and experience with the KBR system will be a big advantage: Engineering MTO / Materials Management Systems * As a minimum, the candidate must demonstrate a good understanding of the Engineering MTO process with material control experience being an advantage * Knowledge of KBR's EMM System and AVEVA PDMS / E3D / ENGAGE will be an advantage. Tendering Systems * Experience in setup and support of an online tendering system is required * As a minimum, the candidate must demonstrate a good understanding of the bidding and evaluation processes as well as a the rules around sealed bidding * Knowledge and Experience in the KBRSupplier.com system is an advantage Procurement An excellent understanding of the procurement process with an understanding to support the following procurement functions: Materials Management Purchasing Expediting Quality Control Logistics Payments including the 3-Way Match Concept Experience working within a procurement function is seen as an advantage but not required Knowledge and experience in the setup, implementation and support of KBR's IPMS System or similar is a big advantage Site Control As a minimum the candidate must demonstrate an understanding and experience in supporting: * Warehouse Management from receipt to issuance of materials * Material Traceability * Construction Planning and Packaging * RFID and Advanced Track and Trace * Advanced Work Packaging Knowledge and experience in the setup, implementation and support of KBR's IPMS System or similar is a big advantage Contract Management As a minimum the candidate must demonstrate an understanding and experience in supporting the full lifecycle of contract management including: * Contract workflow * Drafting and review processes (General Understanding) * Execution including change control, communications and maintenance * Progress and Payment Processes * Close Out * Claims Management Contract Administrator Experience is ...
