Job Description

Responsible for the consistent implementation of project risk management practices in compliance with corporate polices and business strategies from pre-award through post-award project execution phases. Establishes project risk management philosophies, policies, training and procedures for the company. Under general direction, is accountable for the performance and results of a related discipline or sub-group within project controls. Manages the delivery of functional objectives by providing leadership and direction to team members. Participates in the development of functional strategy and may be responsible for global processes and procedures estimating, project risk control, cost control, and scheduling. Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree and relevant experience Project risk manager to lead the risk management effort for KBR on a detailed design and procurement service project. Project strategy, undertaking analyses to help the PM optimise future outcomes; ESSENTIAL SKILLS Providing risk management support for major offshore development. Understanding risks of major offshore oil and gas projects. Understanding of the engineering/procurement/fabrication/construction processes Understanding of quantitative risk analysis methodologies (CRA/SRA) Degree in an engineering discipline PREFERRED SKILLS Experience of FPSO projects. Background in engineering and/or fabrication
