Insurance Finance Consultant Manager and below (FS | Finance) Job Description and Responsibilities The candidate will be based in Hong Kong and work regionally with our Insurance consulting team to support multinational and domestic clients by: * Financial transformation and related automation implementation; * Product control advisory; * Regulatory and statutory reporting advisory; * Staying current on the business, regulatory and industry trends and demonstrate insights; * Collaborating with both Actuarial and Finance Transformation communities within the PwC network to pursue business opportunities; * Demonstrating technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Requirements * Good team player * Meticulous attention to detail, strong organization skills, and strong sense of ownership; * Certified Public Accountant (CPA); OR Degree holder in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, and/or other related major; Qualified or part-qualified actuary preferred * Project and/or BAU experience in closing and multi-GAAP reporting of life insurance companies * Mature and team lead experience with ~5 years of relevant experience in insurance finance and/or actuarial functions, OR professional firms providing relevant client services (candidate with less experience will be considered as Senior or Associate) * Bi/Multi-lingual (English + at least one Asian language) * Consulting experience prefer but not a must * Hands-on implementation experience to any of the following software package preferred but not a must * Finance management software such as Oracle, Hyperion, SAP, Tagetik, Blackline, Workiva, etc. * Actuarial model with software such as Prophet, ALFA, MOSES, etc. * At lease one end to end change implementation project that involves process and system changes. * Base in HK but travelling expected Insurance Operation Consultant Manager and below (FS | Finance) Job Description and Responsibilities As a member of the PwC Consulting team, the candidate will join the Insurance Consulting practice to assist our clients in translating strategy into action. Particularly in large scale, global/regional transformation programs Based in Hong Kong, the successful candidates will have opportunities to work in project serving multinational and domestic clients by: * Digital transformation and related automation implementation; * Post-deal integration support; * Underwriting, Claims, Policy Admin and other operational improvements; * Distribution strategy and customer journey design * Regulatory and statutory reporting advisory; * Staying current on the business, regulatory and industry trends and demonstrate insights; * Collaborating with both Actuarial and Finance Transformation communities within the PwC network to pursue business opportunities; * Demonstrating technical capabilities and professional knowledge Requirements * Good team player * Meticulous attention to detail, strong organization skills, and strong sense of ownership * Analytical thinking and effective verbal and written communication skills to articulate the issues and solutions * Degree holder preferably in Computer Science, Management Information System, Accounting, Marketing or other relevant qualifications * Project and/or BAU experience in digital transformation or post-deal integration projects * Mature and team lead experience with ~5 years of relevant experience in insurance operation, distribution, technology or marketing functions, OR consultancy firms providing relevant client services (candidate with less experience will be considered as Senior Associate or Associate) * At least one end to end implementation project experience that involves process and system changes * Bi/Multi-lingual (English + at least one Asian language) * Consulting experience preferred but not a must * Business analyst or system analyst experience in insurance operation and technology (e.g. policy admin system) Not Applicable Education (if blank, degree and/or field of study not specified) Degrees/Field of Study required: Bachelor Degree Degrees/Field of Study preferred: Certifications (if blank, certifications not specified) Desired Languages (If blank, desired languages not specified) Travel Requirements Not Specified Avail
