Responsibilities As a Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Proactively assist in the management of a portfolio of internal clients, while reporting to Senior Managers and above * Contribute to the development of your own and team's technical acumen * Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges * Assist in the management and delivering of large projects * Train, coach, and supervise staff * Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues * Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand As an Incubation Manager (m/f) , you will: * Support and lead projects for key internal stakeholders, helping them transforming their business with support of digital innovation; * Lead and participate in proof of concepts for new digital technology (with a focus on data science / data management topics); * Participate in continuous R&D work and product evaluations; * Facilitate sharing insights on digital innovation with internal stakeholders; * Help incubating new technology and embrace new working styles in the organisation with a particular focus on the usage of data. Your profile * You hold a Master's degree or PhD in mathematics, statistics, computer science or business/economics with a strong IT focus; * You have at least 5 years of experience in a relevant field; * You have a solid understanding of information technology and strong business acumen; * You have hands-on-experience with software technology, with some focus on data science languages (R, Python or C++), databases (SQL, noSQL), Big Data technology (Hadoop, Spark) and data visualisation tools (Power BI or Tableau); * You have effective knowledge and experience in machine learning, AI, or data management; * You have excellent communication and language skills in English; * You are at ease with rapidly learning new technologies and frameworks; * You combine excellent business analytic and organizational skills with strong creativity and dynamism; * You have a strong business acumen with a customer-first focus; * You are creative, self-motivated, try things out on your own and simply get things done.
