Job Description
Role: Manager, ESG Indices Grade: G10 (internal use only) Location: London S&P Dow Jones Indices The Role: Within the S&P Dow Jones Indices ESG team, we provide intelligence beyond traditional financial measures to help individuals and institutions: * Align their investments with their values; * Achieve sustainable returns; and * Promote positive change. Our mission is to bring independent, transparent and cost-effective solutions to the global investment community. ESG is a strategic priority for S&P DJI and as such we are looking to expand our capabilities. The Opportunity: This is an exciting new role at S&P DJI, the world's largest resource for index-based innovation, data and research. The Analyst will work with ESG indices utilising market leading ESG datasets such as SAM and Trucost, to service internal and external stakeholders. The candidate will report into the Head of ESG Indices, EMEA. The Impact : To work with investors to provide a multitude of ESG indexing solutions. The Team: Our team is composed of ESG professionals driven to help investors align their investments with their values, achieve sustainable returns and promote positive change. Key responsibilities: The purpose of this role is to serve the many day to day needs of senior product managers, clients, client facing representatives, and others interested in S&P DJI's indices and related data. This person will work under the guidance of the Head of EMEA ESG Indices to: * Ensure client, prospect and internal queries are answered fully and efficiently. * Create and maintain PowerPoint decks. * Conduct research and analysis into markets, competitors, prospects, themes etc. * Create and maintain systems to track outreach, competitors, market trends etc. * Manipulate datasets to extract trends etc. * When senior product managers are not available, present at client meetings and at conferences and seminars. Essential skills * 3 years + experience working in ESG investing. * Strong knowledge of various forms of ESG indices and data. * Bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred). * Proven capability to manage processes and systems. * High proficiency using the Microsoft Office suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel * Must be comfortable in a sales-like environment and be able to effectively communicate with third parties including clients, partners, and others. * Demonstrated ability to patiently drive for results while maintaining good relations with a variety of constituents. * Demonstrated ability to work independently, as well as part of a team; can effectively influence others and gain their consensus when needed. 20 - Professional (EEO-2 Job Categories-United States of America), PDMGDV202.1 - Middle Professional Tier I (EEO Job Group), SWP Priority - Ratings - (Strategic Workforce Planning)
