Job Description

Are you an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer? Are you looking for a role on a permanent basis for a global design and manufacture of special purpose machinery for a variety of different sectors including; Aerospace, Fabrication, Machining and Composites. If so, I am looking for somebody to join a growing engineering department for a leader in their field who are incredibly busy at the moment, based just outside of Elmstead, Wivenhoe. Essential Requirements / Experience: * The successful candidates will have solid core design skills with proven experience in a Mechanical Design Engineer role * Must be experienced in a 3D CAD Package * This person will have a mechanical engineering background and therefore familiar with designing and manufacturing disciplines Salary Package: * Competitive salary £30'000 - £35'000 DOE * Career Opportunities * Based near Elmstead, Wivenhoe The Role * Design and development of new project designs for external clients from conception through to successful completion * Creating Bills of Material (BOM's), carrying out calculations, carrying out all engineering work to meet order requirements * Being accountable for ensuring the design and implementation of client projects for specialised processing and management of designs from the initial concept through to manufacturing.
