Job Description

We are currently recruiting a Electrical maintenance engineer for commercial & retail tenanted building in Farringdon, London. The position is based in Farringdon. You will be required to provide an exceptional high standard of building services provision (planned and reactive) within a commercial occupied environment and with the utmost regard for customer service. Ensure electrical services are maintained at all times, having experience / expertise to diagnose faults and rectify them You will have a background and relevant qualifications to provide Electrical Maintenance to commercial buildings. The position is Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. Responsibilities You will: * Carry out routine PPM and reactive call outs as directed by the client * Ensure Maintenance of all critical plant including UPS, Generators, HV Systems Etc. * Diagnose and repair faults on systems and plant and install new plant and equipment when required * Be proactive in reporting faults to equipment, buildings and fittings ensuring all small works opportunities are identified and followed up * Identify equipment that needs to be replaced and advise Supervisor of parts required for works. * Report items to the Supervisor for parts to be ordered. * Assist with quoting for replacements and extra works. Requirements You will have: * Must be fully qualified electrically (city & guilds/NVQ/Apprenticeship/equivalent) * Completed a recognised Electrical Apprenticeship (Preferred not Essential) * City and Guilds 236 Parts 1&2 OR equivalent * City and Guilds 2382-15 18 th Edition * Must have previous experience working in a building services/maintenance environment * Previous experience working in a critical environment is not essential but would be beneficial. * Previous BMS experience and computer literate is a must.
