They deliver performance improvement, turnaround management and business advisory services to organizations seeking to transform their operations, accelerate growth and build results through transformative action. The opportunity This is a fantastic opportunity to join their Restructuring business as an Associate in London. You will get to work with multinational companies, global investment banks and high profile global and European private equity houses and their portfolio companies. The business prides itself on really getting to know their clients, understanding their business and bringing intelligent solutions to maintain and increase value for their client's businesses. Their goal is to improve cashflow and profitability through in-depth involvement in their clients' operations and transactions. They also support PE firms, bank syndicates and hedge funds to make sure that their portfolio companies have the right plans in place and re able to execute and deliver the financial growth expected. In order to achieve this continuing level of service they are looking to hire talented, entrepreneurial individuals who want to develop their careers in the Restructuring space. Main Responsibilities * Swiftly understand a client's situation to enable creative and innovative solutions/options for businesses and their stakeholders * Work with Senior Directors and Directors to deliver client projects through the management of multiple work streams * Support business development activities; creating client pitches and proposals to win new mandates * Offer time sensitive assistance to companies that are under-performing or experiencing a major liquidity crisis * Work directly with company management & help to stabilise financial and operational performance * Projects will include: * Balance Sheet Restructuring * Financial and Operational Restructuring * Asset Sales * Cash & liquidity management and forecasting * Cross-border wind-downs * Preparation and validation of business plans for company management teams * Independent business reviews The Candidate Profile: * A qualified accountant (ACA, ACMA or ACCA) with upto 4 years of PQE in an advisory role * A strong appreciation of financial and analytical accounting * Previous experience in working on advisory projects with minimal supervision - these could be restructuring, M&A, transaction services, etc * Strong financial modelling skills, combined with Excel and PowerPoint skills * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment * Excellent written and spoken communications skills
