Job Description
Are you a mechanically biased engineer? Have you previously worked with heavy plant machinery within the textiles industry? Do you want to join a business that has solid growth plans in place? We're working in partnership with a fantastic textile manufacturer in Rochdale. They're looking for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join them on a permanent basis. About You * You'll have a proven background as a Mechanical Engineer * You must have experience of working with heavy plant textiles machinery * You will have previously fit as well as maintained machinery About The Job * You'll be responsible for planned, reactive and preventative maintenance across a range of machinery * There will be lots of fault finding and reporting on a daily basis * Working as part of a skilled engineering team you'll work Monday to Thursday on 12 hour day shifts * There is regular overtime available About The Company * They've been going for a whole century * They are now part of a wider group of companies and there are exciting things planned for the near future What You Get * A salary of c£35k - negotiable for the right person * A 4 day working week * Opportunities for overtime paid at time and a half If you think you've got the relevant experience please apply now - if you don't have a CV, pick up the phone and call us on 0161 883 2126
