Overview
Our client is a well established manufacturer of capital equipment. Due to impending retirement they need to recruit an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer. Educated to degree level and with at least a couple of year's experience you will have excellent 3D design skills (Solidworks or similar) and have a sound knowledge of geometric tolerances and very precision work. You will also have the ability to undertake the appropriate calculations for stress, thermal expansion and be able to produce your own bill of materials. You will be methodical in your approach and have a strong attention to detail. We are looking for a self starter with excellent communication skills both verbal and written and enjoys interacting with others. Must be able to show sound experience of working with CAD packages and experience of using a MRP system would be advantageous. The Company work a 4.5 day week with an early finish on Friday and has an excellent benefits package.
