Job Description
Tempo is an end-to-end hiring platform that uses video and machine learning to put the excitement back in to recruitment! Each hire is the chance to find someone great, who will bring fresh ideas and energy to drive your business forward. For candidates each new role is a chance to make an impact, develop skills and make new friends. However, thanks to years of cumbersome, disengaging and expensive processes, recruitment has become something that both companies and candidates dread. Tempo is here to change that. We launched in May 2017 and havent looked back since. We now connect more than 65,000 candidates to 2,500 of the most exciting companies in the world, including the likes of Monzo, Uber Eats, Bulb Energy and BCG to name a few. The team has grown from 3-35 and weve attracted more than 3m of investment to accelerate our growth. But were not done yet - we need a creative and talented UI Designer to join our technical team as we consolidate and accelerate our expansion into 2020 and beyond. Although weve got great traction and a maturing product, were still a small and dynamic team and most definitely still in startup mode, so were looking for people who are: * Super smart, driven and a little bit different from the norm * Responsible and diligent - willing to go out of your comfort zone to deliver greatness * Team players - Who are ready to have a laugh and be supportive to all colleagues As a UI Designer you will * Collaborate with another UI Designer, Product Owner, development team and other key business stakeholders * Create wireframes, user journeys, prototypes and high fidelity mockups * Liaise with the design team to communicate the Tempo brand through the product * Generate pixel-perfect responsive web designs for the software developers to implement Requirements * Real commercial experience working as a UI designer on complex software products * Strong wireframing experience in Sketch, Adobe XD, Balsamiq etc * Strong knowledge and experience of the Adobe CC package * Experience with collaboration tools, e.g. Zeplin would be preferable * Experience providing comprehensive web designs and working directly with software developers * Appreciation of usability considerations and UX methodologies * Experience of working with agile product teams to rapidly iterate new product features * Awesome portfolio demonstrating eye-catching, user centred design * Working knowledge or appreciation of front-end web technologies - HTML, CSS, JavaScript would be advantageous * Any experience of conducting user research or user testing Benefits * Share options * Unlimited holiday * Flexible working * Sanctus mental health coaching * Pension * Regular team lunches * Beers after work * Mystery box (all will be revealed!) * Working with a fun, smart team Were on a mission to make work an adventure and recruitment the most exciting thing companies do.
