Job Description

Ripon Integrated Community Team has a vacancy for a Mental Health Practitioner . Are you an experienced band 5 or band 6 mental health nurse, occupational therapist and social worker looking for a new opportunity? We are looking to recruit a capable and committed Mental Health Professional to join our busy but friendly team. This is an excellent and exciting opportunity for the right candidate to become involved in the development of a proactive and forward thinking team. You will be a member of a multi-disciplinary team and be offered opportunities to develop and enhance your existing clinical skills. You will receive regular supervision and support from the leadership team. The service currently operates Monday - Friday 9-5pm, although we are soon looking to extend these hours to 9am - 7pm Monday - Friday. As a member of the team you will provide a service to those individuals who present with mental health issues, with an emphasis on psychologically informed brief interventions. Applicants should be highly motivated, have the ability to act on own initiative and have sound assessment and IT skills. Due to the nature of the role it is essential that applicants are able to travel independently across the locality and have access to a suitable vehicle for business purposes.
