Job Description
SEND Supply Teaching Assistant CER Education are currently recruiting on behalf of a Salisbury based SEND School for an outstanding and passionate Teaching Assistant with recent experience of supporting ASD pupils. The school has a happy, welcoming team of staff, who have the child's needs at the heart of all they do. You will be joining a well established team of support staff and will be required to work on a one to one basis with pupils of primary and secondary age range with autism and cognitive delay requirements. You will be friendly, approachable, have knowledge of following EHCP's and working alongside SENCO's, and be prepared to assist with personal care when necessary. To become part of the CER Education team ideally you will have: * Previous experience within a SEND environment and with pupils with SEND needs. * Hold a formal and relevant qualification such as Level 3 Teaching Assistant * Be comfortable 1-on-1 with pupils * Work well under considerable pressure and to stay calm * Be both adaptable and flexible, going over and above at all times * Have excellent punctuality and organisation * Be positive and friendly * Hold TEAM TEACH qualification ( desirable not essential ) In return, we will support you in your professional development by offering FREE CPD opportunities, weekly pay through our PAYE system, a dedicated consultant who will work for you, ensuring that your needs are met and listened to.
