We are now looking for an ambitious and innovative Regional SHE Manager to join our team covering our Midlands- South West UK Depots and Operations.This role is a position that will allow the successful person to make a demonstrable impact within a world-leading organisation which maintains a family feel. Key Responsibilities * To develop SHE Specialists within the team to reach potential. * Day to Day management and leadership of the Regional SHE team. * To design and implement a health and safety culture change programme which promotes engagement and acceptance of responsibility at all levels in the business. * To improve Risk Management processes and build a world class Safe system of Work. Develop a team approach on SSOW to reduce the risk around routine and non-routine engineering tasks. * Be the regional expert on environmental compliance and ensure the management team fully understand the requirements. * Strong efforts and direction around Stop Work Authority * Overview of SHE training requirements, priorities and implementation * Implementing strategic targets for SHE. About You * Demonstrable experience in a leadership role with the ability to influence culture change in Health, Safety & Environment * Ability to identify and create a vision/strategy along with plans which need to be implemented to reach short and long term goals. * Excellent communication skills - the ability to adopt a range of styles, tools and techniques appropriate to the audience and the nature of information (from Operative to Director level) * Preferably a degree in Environmental Science, Process Safety, Engineering or Occupational Safety and Health * Root cause analysis skills and experience * Excellent stakeholder management skills. * A natural communicator, comfortable dealing with people of all levels. * A natural team player * Degree in Environmental science, Process Safety, Engineering or Occupational Safety & Health.Or related.
