Job Description
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for an experienced and motivated Solutions Architect to work alongside our strategic alliance partners to help build out their Healthcare and Life Sciences (HCLS) practice using the AWS platform. This is an ideal role for someone with deep experience in the HCLS industry, expert knowledge of healthcare solutions and infrastructure and a solid understanding of the security, availability, resiliency, and compliance required of regulated healthcare workloads. AWS partners develop and deploy solutions for customers in the HCLS industry (Payer, Provider, Pharmaceutical, Genomics, Medical Devices) in areas such as improving customer experience, reducing healthcare costs, improving patient and population health outcomes, accelerating scientific discovery, and making advances in clinical diagnosis and treatment. AWS customers are developing exciting and innovative new businesses, and partners are using cloud technologies from AWS such as AI and Machine Learning, IoT, compute and storage to dramatically accelerate innovation. As a Solution Architect focused on our strategic alliance partners within Amazon Web Services (AWS), you will have the opportunity to help shape and take initiative to produce results on a strategy to build mind share and broad use of the AWS platform across our partner community. ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES In this role, you will work with a nominated strategic alliance partner who has entities across Europe providing HCLS customers solutions to address their business critical needs using the AWS platform and partner ecosystem. Create buy-in for the solutions vision with key alliance and internal stakeholders. Work closely with engineering teams and program management from customer and partner teams to deliver new or migrate existing HCLS solutions to the AWS platform. Demonstrate a bias for action and deep technical skills by authoring joint technical whitepapers, technical case studies, or blog posts with our partners. Co-innovate with our alliance partner to bring new HCLS solutions to market leveraging the latest technologies from AWS including Big Data, Machine Learning, IoT and Serverless offerings. Assist our partners by enabling them on AWS services by delivering technical workshops, lead white boarding sessions & being the key technical advisor to them on AWS services. Guide and mentor our strategic partner consultants by executing on Proof of Concepts, and advising them on the best-practices to architect solutions in a performant, scalable, secure, and highly available manner on the AWS platform for our joint customers Understand diverse perspectives of technical vision, creativity, technical acumen, and deep AWS technical skills by jointly designing and developing industry and vertical solutions
