Back-End Developer, SAP Hybris
Overview
Job Description
We are currently looking for a Back-End Developer, SAP Hybris, on a fixed term contract basis to provide strategic and tactical leadership for maintenance of our SAP Hybris Commerce solution. This position will require you to have the technical skills to evolve the entire e-Commerce landscape, troubleshoot production issues, plan for software upgrades, support implementations of new functionalities and to set strategic direction for our e-Commerce platforms to best leverage the technology available to meet business needs. Lead Back-End Developer, SAP Hybris will work alongside a front end developer and a team of producers from our corporate team in Spain, as part of the Site Experience Team and sitting within the larger Global Digital Team. In addition to this, at your disposal you will have further back end development resources who can help with projects where needed. This role reports into the Senior Site Experience Manager. Key responsibilities * Architecting/developing large enterprise-class e-commerce solutions * Serving as technical development lead for all e-commerce solutions * Interfacing between the digital and development teams * Full stack ecommerce development * Leveraging extensive experience on one of the Hybris Commerce platforms * Responsive web development * Working with business analysts and developers to ensure understanding of the application intent, data input, output requirements and inclusion of internal checks and controls * Writing and maintaining complex UI application documentation * Estimating the level of effort required to accomplish tasks * Assisting in the enforcement of coding standards through code reviews * Undoing hard coded elements of the site and reproducing * Supporting replatforming Desired skills and experience * HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS * Experience working in eCommerce within the retail/luxury/beauty/fashion industries * Excellent understanding of SEO * Partners well cross-functionally; able to work side-by-side clearly and consistently across functions and departments * Strong organisational skills, being able to prioritise and deliver under tight deadlines And you will also embody our core values: "Fearless Explorers", "Ambitious In Our Vision", "United In Our Individuality", and first and foremost passionate about fragrance.
