Job Description

We arelooking for an innovative, experienced sales individual with great energy, passion and initiative to drive partner awareness and channel new business for the fastest growing database on the planet, MongoDB. The Director of Partners role owns all things channel related in a specific area or geography. This individual will be responsible for developing a strategy to generate incremental pipeline, increase salesproductivity, and close business leveragingStrategicISVs, Technology Partners, and Global/Regional System Integrators within area. Responsibilities * Own, on behalf of VP - Area Sales, all things partner related * Manage Partners at at Area level but loop back to Globalteam * Recruit newarea partnersinto Partner Accelerate Program * Interlock with GlobalPillarteam for backup and support * Drive Sales leveraging Area Partners (ISVs,Global and Regional SIs, Tech Partners /VARs / Education Partners) * Own Quota for Partners by Area * Generate Pipe and Support Directsales forceon defined end user sales pursuits * Own Customer Satisfaction or CritSit accounts by Partner Area * Forecast PartnerSales Net New ACVto VP - Area Sales weekly Requirements * At least 2 years in a direct sales role for a high technology company * At least 3 years in a partner /channelmanager role * At least 5 yearsgenerating pipeline and selling through Global System Integrators and ISVs * At least 5 years Experience working in a heavy sales matrix model * Technically Knowledgeable in theopen source software, big data, IoT, and / or cloud computing space *MongoDB is an equal opportunitiesemployer*
