Are you fascinated by the deal environment and corporate restructurings and convinced of the importance of transfer pricing in nowadays transactions market? Would you like to contribute as a transfer pricing expert to our M&A Tax team of specialists working on both national and international transactions ? Your role at a glance: As a transfer-pricing specialist within our mergers and acquisitions team, you will be offering TP advice in the framework of due diligence, acquisition structuring and post-deal integration, legal restructuring, financing of acquisitions and all other side aspects surrounding a deal which may have a transfer pricing impact. You will analyze files, solve problems and signal opportunities, liaising with the transfer pricing team, but working on transactions within the M&A team. Linked to your position as aManager, you will: * Be or become the trusted advisor for your clients and develop new business; * Coach the team members and drive the team to make a difference and deliver results in a responsible, authentic and passionate manner; * Have an active role in training our junior and senior staff members in the field of transfer pricing; * Work within the M&A teams and liaising and working closely together transfer pricing team; * Bring business knowledge, innovation and insight to create value for clients and the firm; * Embrace the digital evolution in our business and at clients, motivated to familiarize yourself with these evolutions and to drive these technologies further in our day-to-day business and that of our clients; * Set the tone in promoting risk management and compliance procedures; * Operate and collaborate effectively with a mindset that transcends geographic and cultural boundaries; * Work on attracting, developing and retaining the best talents for the firm; * Directing and driving the success of multiple engagements; * Keeping lines of communication open with staff and clients; * Be responsible for managing within budgetary and time constraints while providing a high-level of client satisfaction. You have: * A master's degree in Economics or Law, preferably with an additional postgraduate qualification in Taxation; * A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in (operational and financial) transfer pricing, whether or not specifically in an M&A context, but with an appetite to (co-) drive deals and reorganizations; * An interest in becoming an M&A professional; * A (basic) knowledge of the Belgian Income Tax Code, as well international and European taxation; * Experience in communicating with clients and senior management; * A successful record of retaining and managing a team; * Fluent Dutch, French and English language skills; * The ability to work to tight deadlines in a well-organized way; * The ability to work in a pragmatic way, if necessary based on validated or reasonable assumptions; * a team player.
