Main Purpose of Role Developing Delegated Authority reporting capabilities is among Argo Global highest priorities in 2020. The Head of Operations is overseeing a significance project to embed bordereaux processes and platforms and to enhance and develop MI throughout the company. The main purpose of this role is to assist with the roll-out of agreed binder/ delegated authority bordereaux platforms utilising offshore teams where possible as well as developing business rules and MI to allow ArgoGlobal to better interrogate bordereaux information. The broader Delegated Underwriting and Bordereaux Management Teams are, in line with the roll-out of the new platform, undergoing a Target Operating Model (TOM) review. As such this role has responsibilities and required skillsets which span across both teams currently. As a result, accountabilities will include both assisting management in the design, roll-out and operation of end-to-end Delegated Authority management and the processing and oversight of bordereaux collection, reporting and in particular the completion of key regulatory projects (e.g. Part VII). Key Accountabilities * To co-ordinate workflows for Coverholder and Binder / Lineslip Contract management including on and offshore workflow processes and compliance reviews * To work with offshore technicians to ensure processes are successfully completed, review weekly offshore workflow and carry out required Quality Assurance checks * To assist Management on new Lloyds and Non-Lloyds coverholder applications (including Class of Business, Regional extension and Branch Office Applications for Coverholders and Argo Service Companies) * To assist Management on Argo Service Company requirements including preparation of renewal slips and endorsements throughout the contract period * Assist on system testing and liaise with the IT and Projects Department as and where required * Comply with Lloyd's and MFSA rules on delegated underwriting and Argo internal protocols and procedures * Attend Lloyds Town Halls and workshops as and when required to stay abreast of ongoing regulatory and market changes * To own the processing of bordereaux and support the delivery of analytical advantage through effective sourcing and processing of bordereaux data * Complete the life-cycle of bordereaux capture and processing including: * Produce the initial mapping of new bordereaux to the ArgoGlobal binder tool * Liaising with Coverholders, Brokers and Underwriters to ensure the timely receipt of bordereaux * Ensure data quality and MI business rules are in place and adhered to in conjunction with underwriters * In conjunction with the Management liaise with ArgoGlobals offshore team to ensure that data entry SLAs are met or escalated * Work with Credit Control to assist in binder credit control helping the offshore team with any required chasing and/ or queries * Work with the Outwards Reinsurance to ensure the annual R/I Renewal process is completed with accurate information. * Attend regular broker meetings with the Bordereaux Manager and Credit Control Manager to maintain good working relationship discussing binder premium settlements and bordereaux queries * Maintain a good relationship with Lloyd's Delegated Authority team ensuring changes to regulatory requirements are understood and embedded in ArgoGlobal processes. * Monitor Conduct Risk MI data being received to ensure completeness. * Assist in large-scale regulatory and / or other key Argo or Market projects, e.g. Lloyd's Part VII Transfer Role Requirements * Demonstrated experience in performing end-to-end bordereaux entry and oversight processes. * Demonstrated experience in coordinating end-to-end Delegated Authority Due Diligence and oversight. * Strong knowledge of DA SATS and Watertrace such bordereaux management systems * Excellent attention to detail and a meticulous eye for identifying inconsistencies or inaccuracies in data entry or data outputs. * Strong stakeholder management experience, building and strengthening relationships within the business at all levels as well as with brokers and Coverholders as required. * Bordereau management tools, document repository and workflow systems, Lloyd's tools (Atlas, Crystal, BARS, AIMS) Skills/Competencies * Communication (oral) - ability to communicate well one-to-one and in small groups. Keeps others informed and updated * Communication (written) - ability to write clear, precise and well organised documents * Relationship building - establish and maintain good working relationships with internal and external parties * Organisational Skills - ability to deliver on tasks and meet deadlines * Prioritisation and attention to detail - must have excellent skills in both of these competencies * Team Player - ability to work well in a team as well as on own initiative * Strategic thinking - understands the big picture.
