The post holder will be responsible for managing and retaining all revenue streams for annual product renewals and annual product % uplifts year on year in their defined EMEA regions with a key focus on the generation of net new business. The Account Manager will have a comprehensive understanding of the Life Sciences business culture to drive and develop a productive sales strategy in their region. A requirement is to be competent with solution selling principles and practices and demonstrate a high level of professionalism to both clients and work colleagues. Account Managers will have a proven ability to develop and maintain relationships and revenue streams within EMEA and have further developed existing accounts for new business opportunities and subsequent revenue generation in untouched departments or company sites within the Life Sciences industry. Two key success requirements for the Account Manager will be to develop a strong knowledge and understanding of the product portfolio and align this understanding to the needs and pains of the target audience (the client). Duties/Responsibilities: Develop new revenue fromportfolio(existing and new departments) to achieve/exceed territory revenue plan To maintain existing subscriber base through renewals To effectively liaise with the customer base through office-based (inside sales) contact and proactively steer relationships towards strategic partnership status To plan appropriate customer training events; to maximise the effectiveness of training activities and to make a significant positive contribution towards the maintenance and growth of Clarivate Analytics revenue To acquire detailed in-depth knowledge of the Science product portfolio. To keep maintain and abreast of new product releases Maintain adequate telephone and WebEx meeting volumes as defined by Sales Management To report back from customer training sessions; recording customer feedback, gathering customer intelligence and action follow-up as required To maintain and update sales progress reports and other administrative reporting mechanisms according to agreed time frames To liaise effectively with internal departments (Product Development, Sales Support and Central Marketing Department) to maximise sales opportunities and to keep up to date with existing and new IP & Sciences services and marketing/sales campaigns To maintain customer satisfaction with all Clarivate Analytics services and functions To take responsibility for identifying training and developmental needs for yourself on anon-goingbasis To undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by your line manager/director Required profile: Skills / Experience: 2-3 Years Sales Experience, minimum 1 Year Account Management Experience Ability to manage and generate revenue from existing customers A customerdrivenapproach and good customer management skills Commercial acumen, with a proactive and creative approach to looking after the needs and concerns of customers and an understanding (or the potential to develop an understanding) of the role of customer training as an integral part of the sales process Exce
