Currently in our office in Bourne or Wrexham we are looking for an experienced Regional Procurement Manager - Labels Position highlight: To ensure the purchasing process across the European Label Division is managed and provides an efficient cost-effective service to internal and external customers and a robust inbound supply chain. This will include supporting day to day purchasing and supply chain activity ensuring all direct and indirect site requirements are met with consideration to Cost, Quality and Service elements as well as leading and supporting site, divisional and group procurement initiatives. How you will impact WestRock: Responsibility for the performance of the inbound supply chain into the European Label Division Own the Regional Purchasing Strategy for Label sites Be the focal point for any purchase or supply chain related areas for the label sites Develop effective supply chain solutions and strategies to deliver the business needs Provide leadership and support to the sites in relation to any purchase and supply chain issues, and escalate as appropriate Review and align site purchasing processes (procure to pay process) to ensure efficient and consistent methods are adopted with best practice shared across the Label sites and the Division Audit site purchases to ensure adherence to group/divisional supply agreements Ensure supplier performance is measured and managed in terms of Quality, Cost and Service Lead and support supply chain cost reduction initiatives across the site cluster ensuring all key stakeholders are engaged in the process. Ensure cost reduction opportunities are identified and work in conjunction with the relevant Category Manager as appropriate to deliver savings opportunities Responsibility for working capital reduction initiatives, focusing on payment terms and direct material stocks Gather, analyse and provide site supply chain data to support local and divisional requirements What you need to succeed: Graduate calibre Membership of Chartered Institute Purchasing and Supply Preferably a minimum of 3 years' experience of purchasing and supply chain management in a multi-site manufacturing environment Strong interpersonal, analytical, influencing and negotiating skills Organisational and priority management skills Ability to travel between sites Computer literate, including Microsoft Results focused with sound commercial and financial awareness Presentation/communication skills Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple projects across multiple locations Influence skills Ability to work with managers at all levels What we offer: Corporate culture based on integrity, respect, accountability and excellence An attractive salary reflecting skills, competencies and potential A career with a global packaging company
