MasterCard is urgently looking for a m/f London based Senior Account Manager Business Leader, Commercial Card Relationship Manager - UK + I Division. The Role & Major Accountabilities: The role holder is responsible for relationship management activities for the Commercial Card business in the UK and Ireland They are responsible for managing the growth and development of MasterCard's Commercial Card payments businesses in the UK and Ireland The role holder will develop, implement and own the annual and longer-term customer strategies that enhance customer profitability, competitive leverage and deliver on the targeted business goals. They drive and manage the customer planning process. A primary focus of the role is to achieve targeted annual net revenue growth across relevant commercial card product lines by ensuring an effective collaborative and value driven relationship model. Building, managing and developing the business relationships with the commercial card senior management team is paramount. Additionally, expanding the existing commercial card relationship to include new senior level customer points of contact across the commercial card business is important while ensuring that all other essential administrative, legal and regulatory obligations are met. The role holder will also commercially manage the central functions that support their business units such as Product Development, Innovation, Business Strategy, CMO, Operations and Risk. Contributing and helping develop a best in class relationship management team/group is also a key accountability. Accountabilities Own and develop the annual and 3 year planning cycle / process. Contribute to the development and where appropriate own customer growth strategies that proactively develop the commercial card business and optimise mutual profitability. Successfully manage the financial performance by ensuring that all target metrics are met. Promote and inform the customer where appropriate MasterCards UK+I strategic agenda to drive MasterCard incremental net revenue growth. In partnership with the UK+I management team, contribute to developing strategic market business plans through the provision of appropriate customer and market intelligence and to take responsibility for the implementation of those plans. Work with the Business Development group to define sales pipeline and help initiate the sales process for agreed payment solutions. Act as the primary point of contact between MasterCard and the Banks Commercial Card Business by ensuring strategic alignment, collaborative interaction, CRM optimisation and maximum mutual success in achieving goals and objectives. Monitor and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction Own all Post Implementation Reviews. Develop as well as manage relationships between internal MasterCard partners including business development, marketing, commerce development, customer delivery, product, Advisors, legal, compliance, security, etc. in order to ensure cross-functional alignment and correct support for the customer. Ensure that all legal, regulatory, MIS and other administrative responsibilities are met. Contribute to and inform Relationship Management processes and management information. Understand and leverage best practices across key industry and business benchmarks. Own relevant contract negotiations with the designated Commercial Card Business at the Bank Own relevant strategic programmes with the designated Commercial Card Business at the Bank. Experience, Skills & Education Demonstrated success in commercial management/relationship roles. Demonstrated revenue management and P&L experience. Demonstrated success in customer/sales roles, with specific and demonstrable experience in negotiations/contract management. Strong analytical and diagnostic capabilities.
