Job Description

iland is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to be responsible for tracking and resolving customer payment issues with speed and consistency through excellent customer service and problem solving skills. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with a minimum of 3 years Accounts Receivable (AR) experience who will take full ownership of the AR and collection process. This is a full-time position based in our office located in Central London, UK and reports to the Accounts Receivable Lead. Responsibilities o Investigate and resolve customer queries through daily collection calls, emails, and documentation in the ticketing system o Generate and send out clear and concise invoices o Follow up on, collect, and allocate payments o Carry out billing, collection, and reporting activities according to specific deadlines o Perform account reconciliations o Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities o Review and report on AR aging to ensure compliance o Document new and follow established procedures for processing payments and recommend improvements o Process credit card payments and prepare and complete bank deposits o Assist with month-end closing Requirements o 2-3+ years of Accounts Receivable experience, collections experience required o University degree in Accounting or Finance preferred o Knowledge of general accounting principals o Proficient in Sage Intacct, or similar accounting system o Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; customer service skills are key o Detail-oriented multi-tasker with exceptional organizational and prioritization skills o Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and cooperatively with team members o The ability to take direction as well as work independently Benefits o Competitive Salary o Bonus Plan o Pension Scheme with Company Match o Stock Plan o Paid Vacation & Holidays About iland iland has been in business for over 25 years, and is an industry leader in the areas of Secure Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS), Secure Cloud Backup (BaaS), and Secure Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS). iland differentiates itself and maintains its market leadership by investing heavily in its proprietary Cloud Console, which is an orchestration tool for its cloud services offered in the US, UK and Singapore.
