Summary: Facebook is looking for a Public Policy Manager who is an analytical thinker with experience in data analysis and policy to join our Privacy and Data Policy team. The Data for Good's team's mission is to develop privacy protecting and innovative data products that help improve wellbeing and save lives. The ideal candidate for this role is a self-starter, a good team player, and creative problem solver that is able to switch easily between detailed work and high-level strategic thinking. The ideal candidate should be passionate about the services we provide and the people that we serve. This is a full-time position.Location: London, Brussels, or Geneva Required Skills: 1. Build key partnerships with policy stakeholders in the EU and the UK around collaborative Data for Good projects, including health, climate change, and other verticals 2. Support new vertical on climate change, liaising with European counterparts and stakeholders on issues related to data to inform climate change policy and advocacy 3. Develop training program for publicly available Data for Good products such that they are more visible and accessible to government counterparts 4. Source partnership opportunities by building relationships with key stakeholders in the public sector and working with Data for Good partners to meet these needs using privacy preserving data products 5. Build ties with government counterparts by sharing research findings and derivative works collaboratively Minimum Qualifications: 6. 3+ years of experience doing quantitative analysis (1+ with advanced degree and Public Policy background) 7. Masters Degree in Public Policy, International development, or Applied Economics 8. Strong network within European institutions 9. Ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance 10. The ability to communicate the results of analyses in a clear and effective manner Industry: Internet
