Job Description

My client are a £900million T/O business that conduct projects up to £250million in value. Even in these uncertain times, my client have various projects currently in PCSA and require a Pre-Construction Senior Design Manager to work on these schemes and then take them out to site if you so wish. Duties and responsibilities include: Final tender CSA and value engineering to the client Liaison with client and their compliance teams CSA and value engineering reviews, within the pre-construction phase Review and manage critical deliverable, including provisional sum package analysis Developing CDM Designers risk assessments, access and maintenance strategies Review of IRS and design programmes in line with procurement and construction programmes Management of the planning consultant External material sample approvals and submissions to planning authorities Monitoring, submitting and managing planning & BC warranties The schemes are mainly D&B with a small CM portfolio, so would consider candidates not just from a contractor but a leading developer also. Depending on the calibre of the candidate, my client would look to pay between £75k and £90k plus generous package.
