ERM is seeking an energetic, self-starting Partner to join our consulting firm in the UK. We are looking for an experienced individual to support and expand a network of excellent client relationships in the areas of Human Rights and Labour Rights. ERM has a well-established practice in this area which it is now seeking to expand in the light of increasing business demand. The ideal individual will help us continue to drive the growth of ERM's business in Social Performance across a wide range of business sectors in the EMEA region. They will be able to draw on a global network of ERM Partners and consultants working with clients on a broad range of social consulting issues. As a key contributor to this important sector within ERM's strategic growth plans, you will be fundamental to the growth of ERM's business in EMEA through selling and delivering world-class services, recruiting and developing others in order to expand our current team, and further advancing our reputation for human rights, labour rights and social performance consulting more widely. ERM has delivered Human Rights related work for more than 20 years around the world often driven by international standards. In recent years we have increased our advisory to our corporate, banking, and other clients on how they can best undertake Human Rights Due Diligence per the UNGPs, applying our global teams experience on the ground working in local languages and conditions, aligned with Boardroom experience in assisting clients in meeting international standard and establishing and managing performance systems and responding to investor challenges. Demand for our services is expanding and this role offers a rewarding role for the right individual. This opportunity will enable you to contribute significantly to key decisions, including the overall strategic direction of our UK & Northern Europe and EMEA strategy. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional with a passion for Human Rights, Ethical Trade, and Labour Standards, keen to pragmatically advise businesses on how they might meet, or influence business partners to meet Corporate Responsibility, Human Rights and Sustainability expectations ROLE PROFILE: Work closely with ERM's Practice Leaders, Partners, Account Managers and consulting team members to manage and develop ERM's business including: Account Leadership & Client Strategy * Primary focus on key client account development, sales, and delivery of the full spectrum of ERM's Human Rights and Labour Rights and wider social performance and social responsibility consulting services to deliver strategic value to target clients in any of the following sectors and industries : * Project Finance for Multilateral Banks, DFIs, EP Banks and other institutions * Private Equity and Impact Investment advisory including ESG Reviews, Labour and Human Rights audits etc * Manufacturing including work on Responsible Sourcing, Supply Chain management, Modern Slavery etc * Mining * Power and Energy * Telecommunications * Actively develop commercial strategies to pursue and win new business opportunities that result in significant revenue growth with target clients aligned with ERM's global strategy. * Provide business value selling at the top levels of client organisations, raising the profile of ERM's capabilities within key client organizations, to identify and shape clients' needs for ERM services. * Develop new client relationships and expand existing relationships by delivering strategic consulting advice, excellent value, and quality service. * Maintain pulse on industry business cycles and prioritize sales efforts toward high-potential, top opportunities. * Manage capture efforts utilizing technical understanding to develop proposals, including written content, pricing, presentations, and contracting. * Ensure a robust understanding of client's businesses, organization, programs and processes, as well as a comprehensive understanding of client's priorities, key needs and what is deemed as most valuable. * Drive a strategy and execution plan(s) focused on key geographies, service needs, and that facilitates growth in ERM's Social Performance business. * Personally perform face-to-face engagements with client stakeholders (face-to-face visits and presentations). * Ensure that contract access is established (and expanded) for key areas of service and geographies and that contract terms and requirements are identified and maintained. Team Building, Alignment & Collaboration * Work in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment to build ERM's global business. * Build and develop a strategy for team growth and mentor others in your team. * Continue to grow the successful Social Performance services practice across the Northern Europe Business Unit and support, and leverage resource from the EMEA team and the wider ERM family. * Play a key role in the EMEA Social Consulting Technical Community and also the global Technical Community
