Key Responsibilities * Management and development of existing channel partners across multiple channels and product portfolios. * Identify and develop new business opportunities for Allegion with existing and potential future customers to deliver business growth and increased market share * Create demand with end users, specifiers, designers and contactors using technical and product knowledge and solution selling to ensure Allegion products are specified. * Develop a project pipeline and managing the pipeline to ensure this translates to sales for Allegion products (transacted through appropriate Allegion Channel Partners) and continually maintain/update the pipeline in CRM. * Develop, maintain and strengthen effective relationships with key customer contacts that leads to profitable sales growth * Carry out face to face appointments with targeted decision makers and influencers throughout the value chain * Develop account/sales plans with clear objectives in order to meet targets and ensure that CRM system is continually updated with progress. * Maintain current customer / account information regarding customer visits, personal contact information, product updates and issues, etc within CRM system. * Report on market trends and possible future opportunities for the company * Provide customers and contractors with detailed quotations for Allegion products * Provide customers, contractors and specifiers with training for Allegion products * Maintain current knowledge of Allegion products / service offerings, industry/competitor trends and customer requirements / conditions * Develop, communicate and maintain the company sales and marketing policy in association with the Commercial Leader * Identify and implement customer trading terms for Allegion product with the prior agreement of the Commercial Leader * Partner with wider Allegion sales team to leverage opportunities outside of your specific area * Provide accurate detailed Forecasts * Any other tasks as requested Skills, Experience & Education Requirements * Strong commercial sales experience in architectural hardware with demonstrable track record of sales and profit growth * High architectural hardware product knowledge * Working knowledge / experience of project/specification sales: working with contractors and specifiers and end users, essential * Good commercial acumen with intense customer focus * Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills * Strong negotiation skills * Self-motivated with a pro-active approach to problem solving * Ability to manage competing priorities with strict time constraints * Territory management and forward planning skills * Good organizational skills * Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications * Current driving licence Characteristics Required: * Self-motivated with a positive, solutions-based approach * Professional business etiquette and ability to impart confidence to customers and staff alike * Independent and can work as part of a team We Celebrate Who We Are!
