We are looking for a confident, motivated and experienced Internal Audit Assistant Manager/Manager to support partners, directors and managers in the delivery of a range of Internal Audit services. The main duties of this role will involve delivering a high quality of services to clients of the firm, within the firm's standards, budget and timescales. Requirements * Ensure that all work carried out complies with the firm's standards and procedures, and that the work is within budget and to the expected timeframes * Ensure a high level quality in all work produced (including the review of the work of others in the team) and apply all relevant technical disclosures to client work during the planning phase and ensure all requirements are met (e.g. statutory filing deadlines etc.) * Take responsibility for your own work and ensure that files are completed to the standard expected by managers * Manage time effectively and prioritise work, know when to communicate potential issues to manager, including providing regular progress updates to both manager and client on work being completed and ensure that all time is accurately recorded and maintained on a daily basis * Prepare accurate, timely and detailed management reports, letters of representation, fees and correspondence ready for issue to the client * Identify technical and business issues specific to a client, i.e. tax, fraud, risk related issues and suggest solutions to the manager / partner * Develop and maintain positive client relationships using effective, appropriate and timely communication methods * Develop a communication plan for each client to take initiative for contacting client before / after audit to enhance / build relationships (agree with client manager) * Attend audit clearance meetings / audit committee meetings * Seek opportunities to get involved in tendering opportunities through research / drafting sections of tenders / assisting with presentations * Recommend additional services of the firm to the manager / partner that the client would benefit from receiving * Brief employees on work required and check their understanding before allowing them to proceed, to delegate effectively and supervise work appropriately * Provide constructive feedback to employees via the firm's appraisal process (ROAD) and other ongoing appraisal processes as required * Provide coaching, support and on-the-job training to team members Benefits We reward our employees with extensive benefits, such as: * Competitive salary * Opportunities for flexible working * Generous annual leave and bank holiday entitlement * Excellent working environment * Attractive bonus staff referral scheme * Company pension scheme
