A job opportunity is available for a Maintenance Supervisor to work based in a luxury residence property near Canary Wharf, London E14. The Maintenance Supervisor will assist the Maintenance Manager with the day to day maintenance operations of the building, the job is paying up to £32k per annum + benefits. JOB DUTIES The Maintenance Supervisor job will involve the following The Maintenance Supervisor will be proactive & attend to reactive maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the building. The Maintenance Supervisor will conform to health & safety regulations including fire precautions, manual handling, chemical safety & storage disposal. The Maintenance Supervisor manage and reduce operations costs. The Maintenance Supervisor will support with interviewing and hiring of maintenance staff. The Maintenance Supervisor will carry out training, development & performance appraisals of the maintenance team. The Maintenance Supervisor will carry out regular spot-checks of rooms & public areas. JOB REQUIREMENTS Ideally the Maintenance Supervisor will have experience working in a customer facing job environment, someone who has previously worked as a Maintenance Team Leader, Assistant Maintenance Manager or Facilities Maintenance Supervisor. The ideal candidate for the Maintenance Supervisor job will have a strong knowledge of maintenance, housekeeping, facilities & H&S standards & be London based or live within a good commute to London .
