Overview

Are you interested in working for a well-established, 6-Partner firm with 30 staff in a prestigious area of Central London? One of our favourite clients, an exclusive firm in the West End with long-standing client relationships, have asked us to find them a talented Accounts and Audit Semi-Senior to help handle an influx of new clients. Part of the company’s philosophy is to advance their staff, nurturing them and seeing them not just as employees but as key components of the business. This extends to their clients, in fact some of their client bank has been with the firm for its entire history. As the company’s new Accounts and Audit Semi-Senior, you will be: Working on Audits from start to finish or be willing to learn, the company will train you. Duties will include the following: o In-house preparation and attendance on client premises o Planning meetings with Senior Management and other staff o Ensuring appropriate documents are available from the clients o Meeting with clients to set expectations and walk them through the audit process o Engagement letters and bank letters o Finalising and preparing reports Preparing full sets of Statutory Accounts for clients: accounts finalisation, file completion, presenting to management for review, tax computations o You will have your own portfolios of large corporate clients and be their sole point of contact Time split about 50/50 between Accounts and Audit duties, this is flexible however Working in a team of 12 and reporting directly to the Directors You will ideally have some experience with: Helping guide junior staff while completing audits on client premises Working with clients with turnovers of at least several million pounds Working in an accounting practice At least 18 months of experience including some of the time leading audits or assisting significantly This is a career-progressive role and the company offers great training and guidance, giving you increased responsibility as you settle in and advance.
