Overview
Payroll Officer, £29,013 Your new company: A Central Government organisation is looking to recruit a Payroll Officer. The role is likely to last 6 months Your new role: You be responsible for the allocation from the 3,000 staff ensuring they are paid correctly and on time. You will occasionally have to assist staff payroll keying and queries. You will have to provide the best possible customer service through answering calls and emails from internal and external stakeholders. You will have to assist with any payroll system testing required in order to ensure that the software meets both operational expectations outlined. You will understand and comply with all aspects of pensions automatic enrolment for staff. You will offer and provide assistance to staffing budget expenditure projects and forecast scenarios. What you'll need to succeed: You will preferably have a CIPP. You will have previous payroll experience. You will have working and up-to-date knowledge of HMRC Legislation with regard to payroll and pensions. You will be able to identify and process salary over payments and seek recovery. You will have General Pensions understanding What you'll get in return: You will receive a generous salary of £29, pro rata dependent on experience. Other benefits include flexible working.
