Job Title: SME PRICING ANALYST Location: Milton Keynes Salary: £27 000 - £31 500 10% discretionary bonus Timely Recruit is looking for an SME Pricing Analyst work in the Energy and Utilities sector. You will be working with a Renewable Energy company - working towards cleaner energy and reducing customers home and business utility bills. The Pricing Analyst provides an essential function within the client’s B2B business, operating between sales, operations and supply to ensure they offer timely, accurate and competitively structured energy products and services to their customers. Who you are : Analytical and have a head for numbers You have experience in the Energy and Utilities sector in Pricing Technical ( Excel, SLQ, VBA) and have fantastic attention to detail Responsibilities : You will be responsible for the production of accurate and timely prices to the marketplace (both matrix and bespoke) Analyze the Energy/Utilities competitive position and sales performance Proposing the Energy pricing policy Identifying improvements to processes and systems to improve the ability to serve their customers Working with IT, deliver system improvements and be responsible for UAT testing Portfolio analysis and understanding the inherent risks Minimize the risks associate with the our pricing and contracting process Run performance reports, interpret and provide insight behind the numbers Maintain existing process documents, identifying gaps and introduce process improvements Make recommendation based on risk/reward analysis Respond to request from sales and operations relating to the pricing, credit and structuring Supporting audits of data Responsible for some cost stack elements Your background: Previous experience in the energy/ Utilities industry 2.?1 or higher in a numerical/?business discipline, or equivalent Technical, excellent Excel skills with an understand of SQL / VBA or desire to learn Proactive, driven and keen to take on responsibility You will have a Pricing background - we will consider a residential or commercial energy/ utility background. Can work under pressure to tight deadlines You will have Pricing Analyst experience in the Energy/ Renewable/ Utilities sector.
