Overview
I am currently recruiting for 2 experienced Production Supervisors to join our growing manufacturing business. In this position, you will play a key role in the overall success of our organization by planning, supervising and carrying out daily operations functions within the business. Key Responsibilities Monitor daily production activity Monitor KPI and efficiencies for your area Work alongside the Production Manager and deputise in their absence Maximize efficiency through best practice Lead by example with manufacturing processes Ensure a high level of health and food safety is always maintained Check and confirm the accuracy of the work performed and the methods used by production staff Monitor and determine various staffing and training needs Supervise production staff members and operatives during shift Communicate and collaborate with other managers, suppliers, and contractors Attend daily management meetings Ensure company policies and procedures are always maintained Work alongside the Production Manager to improve manufacturing efficiencies Monitor costs and wastage The Person Ideally a minimum of 2 years of FMCG experience, ideally in a supervisory/team leader role within Food Manufacturing Leadership skills necessary to manage and develop a team Level 2 Food Safety Qualification Working hours will predominately be Monday - Friday 8 am - 5pm however some flexibility will be required to support the needs of the business
