Overview
The Company: A fantastic opportunity for a Production Manager to join an established, online fast fashion company providing on trend fashion, footwear or accessories. The working hours are Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm. The ideal candidate will have fashion experience within a similar role, planning and organising production schedules, estimating, negotiating and agreeing budgets and timescales. The Role: Reporting to the Managing Director, liaising with internal teams, Sales, Merchandisers, Designers and Technologists Managing all aspects of the production line, liaising with factories around the world Responsible for the supply chain process from order to delivery. Managing the critical path ensuring agreed delivery dates are maintained. Liaising with suppliers on a day to day basis and ensuring samples, lab dips etc. are received on time. Managing the workflow and weekly schedules, so that garments are produced in line with customer requirements, quality and schedules. Negotiating orders, including pricing and delivery dates. Maintain Quality control standards. Identifying production and supply chain issues and dealing with any problems/ delays as they arise. Managing the shipping process with the factories - compiling shipping documents. Compiling management reports Skills Required: Experience working in Production and Supply Chain Ideally you will be working in the fashion industry Must have excellent communication skills, able to motivate and negotiate Fully computer literate including Excel and Outlook. Keen interest in fashion. Good attention to detail and accuracy. Strong communication and organisation skills.
