Overview
Production Administrator First Call Contract Services are currently recruiting for a Production Administrator for our clients busy head office and manufacturing function based in Thurmaston, Leicester, LE4. This role is to process sales and orders through production by preparing all elements required to begin each manufacturing stage to completion. The role’s key responsibilities are to check the capability to manufacture the customers product and identify required parts to fulfil the manufacturing of the product to completion. This role is a fixed term, maternity cover until September 2020. Immediate interviews and starts are available. Candidate duties and experience will include: · Draw all glass shapes required to fulfil an order · Create cut sheets for all required components, apron extrusion, blinds, vents and timber · Determine motor usage for all roof lights with opening capabilities · Order and process all traditional roof lights from point of sale to supplier delivery · Liaise with sales staff to advise potential issues with orders or production before the production stage · Run Sales Orders Awaiting Production (SOAP) report to determine new orders for production · Produce production unit figures for daily report · Scan all appropriate documentation to the relevant folders / drives in the system · Answer customer calls for delivery and provide excellent levels of customer service Candidate skills will include: · High level of attention to detail · Computer literate with excellent level of MS Word and Excel · Excellent communication skills · Able to work to deadlines · Able to manage a busy workload Candidates will have an experience of working within a production environment and have excellent administration skills. Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm. Starting salary is £18kpa plus excellent company benefits.
