Overview
Manpower are looking to recruit an experienced Migration Engineer to join our Client in Newcastle. As an integral part of one of the largest migration projects in Europe, you will be responsible for providing a 2nd Line support service to the end user in both the lead up to and post migration. Using your previous experience you will drive process improvement and streamline activities as well as run scripts and use appropriate tooling to perform migrations. You will also be responsible for responding to customer generated incidents/ change requests resolving any issues that occur. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of Wintel Server and Desktop Operating Systems, Active Directory, MS Exchange, Network Migrations, DHCP, DNS and SCCM. If you are a self-motivated, logical thinker with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels this could be your ideal role. Due to the nature of this role all candidates must be willing to undergo SC security clearance which will be applied for on their behalf by Manpower.
