If the answer is YES we would love to speak with you IFG are an Award-Winning Contract Catering Company specifically catering for Schools and Colleges across the UK- we consist of Innovate, Cucina and IFG Independent. We are currently recruiting for a Chef Manager to be based within IFG Independent at an Independent Prep School in Brighton . You will already be an experienced Chef Manager, Executive Chef or Head Chef with the Independent Schools sector a nd be used to providing exception service, the highest quality of food and engaging with pupils, parents and school employees. Delivered by our distinct and industry leading brands covering over 160,000 students we are committed to providing- Better school meal uptake Better long-term eating habits Better environmental impact We are looking for someone who brings: Experience of running a smooth and efficient catering service with the capacity to go above and beyond to providing both exceptional food and customer satisfaction. Passion for healthy food and creative flair, responsible for cooking and menu planning. Great People Management skills and is confident to manage performance through the day to day operation. Proactive and able to work under own initiative. Understanding of finances including budgets, sales and stock ordering Great understand of health and safety and food compliance. Great Customer Service with a passion for promoting a fun and efficient team Works well under pressure, and is comfortable in a very flexible, fast paced working environment. A positive outlook with a great can-do attitude, willing to gain new skills. What we want to give you: Term time employment which means 40 weeks a year and 4 weeks holiday Monday to Friday only (Very occasional weekend working for events) 40hour contract with working hours between 7am and 3pm (some flexibility needed) £33000 per annum Free uniform Internal development opportunities Internal team bonus scheme Benefits including Life Insurance, Private Medical & Pension This role requires you to be responsible for the main meals within the school therefore a trade test will be required.
