Our client is looking for Sushi Chef
Responsibilities:
Masterfully prepare and present sushi and Japanese dishes, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and creativity.
Uphold strict hygiene and safety standards, maintaining a clean and efficient workspace.
Collaborate with our team to develop new, out-of-this-world menu items and specials.
Manage inventory like a pro, ensuring we always have what we need to deliver excellence.
Engage with guests, providing an unforgettable dining experience and accommodating special requests.
Train and mentor junior staff, passing on your skills and passion for sushi.
Qualifications:
Must have solid skills in sushi preparation – rice making, fish cutting, and roll forming.
Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Exceptional teamwork and communication skills.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
