Overview
An exciting opportunity for a Junior IT Project Manager/Implementation Consultant has come to the market to join an established organisation located in Sheffield. You will be working alongside an experienced Project Manager, overseeing the full life cycle of projects, from initial concept, through to go-live releases, providing effective project support to achieve business objectives in delivering the digital strategy. As the IT Project Manager, you will be working with will be operating across a wide variety of technologies with a digital remit, including infrastructure, desktop and software. The successful candidate is likely to come from a background where they may have implemented small projects or had some project experience internally, however, our client will also consider candidates coming from a technical support background seeking to move into a project management position. Key Skills/Experience: IT Project experience/or technical support experience Knowledge of project management methodology i.e., Prince 2 would be highly advantageous) Experience liaising with a variety of business stakeholders and/or customer interaction Excellent time management, organisational and customer communication skills This exciting opportunity will allow a candidate to play a pivotal role within the organisations digital strategy.
