Technical Manager - Analytical Development, Pharmaceuticals, Deeside. Expanding Pharmaceutical CDMO working through an additional period of transition & growth including the addition of new biological development & testing labs. We are looking for an experienced Technical Manager from a Biological background (Ideally 5 years experience of R&D / Analytical Development within Biologics) Main Duties of the Technical Manager, Analytical; To work closely with the project managers and team leaders to provide the technical and scientific oversight for projects. delivery of scientifically sound drug substance characterization and analytical development and validation protocols. To act as technical support for the analytical team. Author analytical development reports and presentations to document investigational findings. Ideal Experience for the Technical Manager, Analytical; A minimum of 5 to 10 years' experience in an analytical method development role, or relevant research and development experience for biochemistry is desired, preferably working in the service regulated pharmaceutical industry. A proven track record in small molecule analytical development to support non-sterile dosage form development is a pre-requisite. Expertise in stability-indicating method development techniques using reverse and normal phase chromatographic techniques including experience in the development of in-vitro release methodology for modified release dosage forms is essential The ideal candidate will also have experience in the development and routine use of cell counting methods including counting chambers, automated plate counting methods and flow cytometry.
