Junior Development Technician
Overview
Junior Development Technician 6 month FTC (maternity cover) Wiltshire A rapidly expanding FMCG manufacturer is looking for a Junior Development Technician to join their talented team based near Bath. This organisation is currently going through a rapid growth phase and as such, they are looking for a 6 month FTC member of staff to assist with their current projects. The purpose of this role is to research and develop safe new cosmetics and personal care products to customer requirements, ensuring all aspects of formulation and method of manufacture are accurately documented. Key Responsibilities: Keep accurate, detailed records of product development and product specifications. Develop products to fit the needs of the customer / consumer / business Prepare bulks for prototype submission, stability, challenge, user trials and compatibility Complete stability testing, user trials, challenge tests, claim substantiation Perform and accurately record lab tests on samples (eg pH, viscosity, SG, drop, break strength etc.) Organise raw material / packaging samples from suppliers (internal and external). Investigating and solving production problems relating to product together with the relevant teams in QA, process and production.
