Overview
As our Maintenance Technician , you’ll join our Knowl Hill site, near Reading , on a full-time basis earning a competitive salary up to £35,000 plus on call and overtime. Responsibilities of our Maintenance Technician - Carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance on the waste treatment plant and ancillary equipment - you must be able to replace a bearing and change a motor. - Reviewing and, where needed, developing maintenance plans to increase plant availability times. - Identifying faults by observing the plant, listening for irregular noises and monitoring the controls for abnormal readings. The ideal Maintenance Engineer will have the below skills and experience: Candidates must be computer literate and possess: At least 3 year’s experience in a maintenance environment. Qualified to City & Guilds Level 3 standard with a time served Mechanical Apprenticeship to NVQ level 3 or equivalent. Experience & Knowledge of servicing mechanical equipment is essential.
