Field Maintenance Engineer - Swindon and M4 corridor region Opportunity: Are you currently working as a Field Maintenance Engineer looking for your next career opportunity? Your role as a Field Maintenance Engineer will involve fixing, servicing, commissioning and installing medical device equipment at customer sites mainly hospitals. You will be covering the Swindon and M4 corridor region. Duties and Responsibilities include: Fault finding and repairing medial equipment. Commissioning and installing machines. Effectively servicing a broad range of machines in accordance with manufacturers and local UK requirements. Efficiently diagnosing faults and repairing machines. Connecting, managing, trouble shooting, and helping to resolve lower level device integration and network connectivity problems with connected devices. Flexibly providing emergency cover and undertaking emergency maintenance on site. Completion of detailed service reports, maintaining accurate stock records and maintaining complete monthly reports. Providing support and coaching to customers where required. This is a 12 months fixed term contract role with the scope for it to go permanent for the right person dependent on the individual and business performance. Salary is around £38,000 per annum (negotiable for the right candidate). There are excellent benefits including £600 per month car allowance, bonus, Life insurance, Pension, ESPP and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays on top. Skills: To apply for the role of Field Maintenance Engineer you will have the following: Electro-mechanical engineering background supported by a technical qualification (e.g. ONC/HNC). Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer (Medical industry preferred). Experience of working in a highly customer driven organisation.
