Overview
Financial services organisation looking for a Finance Director to manage their corporate services team. Your new company Hays are currently working with an exceptional financial services organisation who are looking for a Finance Director to manage their corporate services team. Your new role You will be responsible for coaching and managing a team of 8 people. You must be passionate about developing people. The external role will see you leverage existing relationships to offer company secretarial and accounting services to corporate entities. This includes forming companies for corporate organisations and delivering the due diligence and regulatory work involved. There may also be some direct management of these too. There is a focus on the winning of new business through existing contacts and relationships. You will also liaise and draw upon the internal business development team for the preparation of bids and tenders and accompanying them on pitch meetings. Although this is a senior role you may be involved in management reporting if needed. This is also very much a development opportunity as there will be growth in the team and in the organisation. What you'll need to succeed You will be a Qualified accountant from a Top 4 firm. Ideally you will have Financial Services experience and knowledge of corporate services is preferred but not essential. You must also have a record of business development.
