CMM Programmer
Overview
CMM Programmer Bridgnorth Permanent Competitive salary Monday – Friday 37.5 hours per week A reputable and credible engineering business, located in Bridgnorth, is looking for a CMM Programmer to join their Quality team to develop the equipment along with the production quality output. The role will include carrying out inspections using the CMM machines and reporting / highlighting quality issues and completing documents and reports accordingly. Responsibilities and duties will include, but not limited to: Writing CMM programs Setting up the CMM machines for the relevant checks Carry out inspections using the machines Reporting any non-conforming or tight tolerance production pieces Completing quality checks using measuring equipment such as micrometres and verniers Carry out reports and complete documents signalling improvements Train operators on the use of the CMM machines Skills and Experience Strong working knowledge of CMM programming Experience using PC-DMIS software Previous use of Quindos and Geopak software would be advantageous The ability to use measuring equipment Engineering background with an understanding for high quality production The application process: We will carefully consider your details and advise you if we're able to progress with your application within 72 working hours .
