CMM Inspector Huntingdon CMM Inspector - Huntingdon Area Salary Competitive Depending on experience Our Client based in the Huntingdon area are currently looking to recruit a Quality Inspector / CMM Inspector. Job Purpose: To ensure high quality standards are maintained Be self-motivated and professional in approach with a can-do attitude. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Purpose Fully conversant with PcDmis 2018 software and able to program and inspect complex components Understand the requirements of production, assign staff /resources to achieve the customer delivery promises Using customer drawings and 'statements of work', be able to create inspection plans and instructions Taking ownership of commitments and effectively flow the requirements down to the inspection team Manage in process inspection including timely first off and final inspections Understand manual inspection techniques and where required be hands on Have a good understanding of the CMM inspection process, be able to talk through set ups and inspection techniques with customer and inspection team Good understanding of AS9102 F.A.I.R. activities Release signatory for quality sign off Knowledge of compliance to ISO9001 and AS9100 quality standards Report inspection KPI's Continuous development of departmental operations Key Responsibilities Creating robust inspection strategies Producing clear and accurate instructions for inspectors Ensure that quality is maintained to specific requirements To ensure all inspection equipment is maintained in accordance with requirements Support shop floor staff as required to ensure manufacture in compliance with design intent, and by the most efficient methods Fully comply with Company Policies including Health and Safety at all times Requirements: · Essential skills · Advantageous skills o PcDmis 2018 experience o Supplier-facing experience o Ability to create inspection plans and instructions o Aerospace and defence experience o Ability to read and understand technical drawings o Hands-on composite experience o Process improvement skills o Programme management experience Disclaimer This Job Description describes the main job duties, responsibilities and activities in place at the time when it was issued.
