We are recruiting for a chef de partie for a Luxury 4 country house hotel near Pontefract, West Yorkshire. The impressive looking property boasts a 2 Rosette accreditation in the restaurant side. This establishment also has a brasserie. With a modern kitchen and up to date equipment, the business has a strong conference and banqueting trade along with wedding functions throughout the year. The beautifully furnished restaurant provides guests with a relaxed atmosphere to receive high levels of service to complement the Modern British cuisine with a twist. There is also a more informal bistro available to dining guests for lunch time and evening meals as well as seating outside for afternoon tea. With several beautifully individual finished hotel rooms, this establishment is a great magnet for those wanting to escape the city hustle and relax in surrounding country side. Overall we are looking for a strong chef de partie, to join this already successful brigade at one of the regions premier hotel venues pushing for more accolades. Candidate Role: • Be responsible for the running of designated sections in the kitchen • Work with the senior team to develop menus • Adopt kitchen hygiene protocols • Develop junior members of the team • Assist in each department - restaurant/C&B and wedding functions • Assist in daily food prep and service Candidate Specification: • Chef de partie experience is preferred but a strong demi would be considered • All fresh food background is a must • Ideally in a similar establishment • Good longevity in each role • Must have experience working in restaurant and conference and banqueting • Have excellent time management skills • Be professional and approachable at all times • Rosette experience is preferred The Employer • Great Salary • Tips Package • 2 AA Rosette • Strong team spirit • 4 Hotel • 30% discount in the restaurant • Easy to commute from Leeds In line with the requirements of the Asylum & Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
