Programme Director
Overview
We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company. We are now seeking an exceptional individual to join a new and rapidly growing team as its Programme Director, at a critically exciting moment for the Fund and the field. This role offers a unique opportunity for a high-potential individual to shape and drive grant making programmes across an ambitious and global funder. The Programme Director will design, execute and operationalize the strategy, working closely with the Executive Director and other senior leadership, build and lead a significant team, whilst also delivering over $50m of programme grants to further Clean Air Fund’s objectives. The successful candidate will demonstrate significant experience developing and leading a strategy, as well as operationalising a strategy into action in a fast-paced and rapidly growing and changing global environment. S/he will bring a track record in programme development ideally gained in either the international development or philanthropic sector. S/he will possess strong management experience and interpersonal skills, gained through working in a complex stakeholder environment, and a proven ability to influence and coordinate partners and stakeholders at all levels across civil society and government. Knowledge of air quality, health, children’s development or climate change is not essential but desirable. Most importantly, the successful candidate will be passionate about our work and aligned with our mission and values.
